Following the resignation of Giles Easter, Simon Moscow will step up to the firm’s UK head of asset management alongside Stephen Walker’s promotion to the deputy role.

Easter, who spent 14 years at Aberdeen after arriving from Strutt & Parker in 2001, departs to “pursue interests elsewhere” in August following a hand-over period.

Alongside supporting Moscow, Walker’s new deputy head asset management for the UK role will see him retain responsibility at the helm of the group’s Edinburgh offering.

Moscow and Walker have been with the firm since 2008, and move up from UK head of retail asset management and head of Aberdeen UK Property’s Edinburgh office, respectively.

“Our UK property business is one the largest in our peer group so it is essential that we have the right people leading it,” said Tonny Nielsen, head of asset management and transactions for Aberdeen Property.

“Simon and Stephen bring nearly 30 years of experience to their roles and I am confident they will continue to grow the business in the years to come.”
