Rowell joins as a partner having spent 30 years in industry, 15 years of which have been in private wealth and investment. He will be tasked with new client acquisition and developing the firm’s client service proposition.

Rowell joins the three founding partners, Ross Elder, Fred Hervey and Becky Robbins, who launched the company earlier this year. The three founders are also ex Barclays Wealth.

At Barclays Wealth, Rowell was a senior member of its UK investment committee and worked on the delivery of a ‘new culture and values approach’ following the fallout from the financial crisis.

“It’s exciting to be joining this partnership that seeks to remove the conflicts that exist in the industry and which has its interests completely aligned with its clients,” Rowell said.

“Chris Rowell joins us with an enormous amount of expertise in terms of investment and relationship management, Elder said. “ In addition, his experience of team and culture development will be invaluable.  Our values are what set us apart; indeed we invest our own money alongside our clients, and Chris will add to our capabilities in delivering exceptional service to our clients.”

Lincoln said its aim as a firm is to combine qualities of a family office, private client stockbroker and a private bank in its offering to clients.
