Based in the bank’s London office, Gil will spot key investment and sector trends and make stock-specific recommendations for clients within European equities.  He will report to Leandro Veltri, head of equities for EMEA and Asia, and joins from Santander Global Banking & Markets, where he was also based in the capital.

Commenting on the hire, Veltri said his team’s latest addition came at a point when it was looking to grow its business to serve families around the globe.  “Pedro will have an essential role in developing our equities offering and delivering exclusive investment strategies to our clients,” he said.

Currently, JP Morgan Private Bank has client assets in the region of $909bn.  Late last year JP Morgan Asset Management teamed up with the bank to boost its own offering, and unveiled a range of model portfolios to better serve its adviser clients.
