Threadneedle has confirmed Campbell Fleming will become its chief executive officer on 1 March.

As previously reported, current CEO Crispin Henderson will, at the same time, become vice chairman of global asset management at Threadneedle’s parent Ameriprise Financial. Both will report to Ted Truscott, CEO of global asset management at Ameriprise.

Fleming joined Threadneedle in 2009 as head of distribution and is a board member of the IMA. He previously worked at JP Morgan and has held a range of regulatory and legal roles in the UK and Australia.

Henderson has served as chief executive of Threadneedle since 2007 and has been with the firm for more than a decade.
