Coming ten years after it launched, Charlotte Square said the hire marks the start of a 12-month recruitment drive across the investment and support teams.

The company, which provides investment management services to private investors and was founded in 2003, is the trade name of Raymond James Investment Services and the new hire brings the head count at the firm to nine.

William Forsyth, principal at Charlotte Square, said: “This is a time of change in both the markets and the financial services industry. We see this as an ideal time for a business like Charlotte Square to attract new clients who are interested in a truly personalised service at a local decision-making level, but who also want the reassurance that the global strength of Raymond James Investment Services offers clients through its administration platform and regulatory and compliance umbrella.”
