Spinks co-managed these funds with head of multi-asset Johanna Kyrklund and portfolio manager Tim Carr respectively.

Ajewole, who joined Schroders’ multi-asset team in 2006 and manages £5.5bn of UK balanced portfolios, will work with Kyrklund on the Diversified Growth Fund, while Martin Blank will co-run the Diversified Completion Fund with Tim Carr.

Blank joined Schroders in 2001 and has held a number of analyst and portfolio management roles within the firm.

He currently has portfolio management responsibilities for a US segregated account, alongside Kyrklund , and this will now be transferred to Phil Chandler, based in New York and Aymeric Forest, based in London, with Kyrklund maintaining her position on the mandate.

Spinks will formally leave Schroders on 24 October, leaving eight multi-asset investment portfolio managers working in London.

Last year the firm hired Aymeric Forest, Matthias Scheiber and Rob Hall to boost the manager count in the multi-asset team.
