McGuckin joined the firm from Legal & General Investment Management in April, having also worked at Fidelity as an analyst.
She will work on the Kames High Yield Bond Fund – first quartile over one, three and five years – and Kames High Yield Global Bond Fund, first quartile over one and three years, and since being launched in November 2007.
Milburn said: “Claire has worked closely with me and Melanie since joining us in April. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge particularly in the high yield sector and her capabilities have served to enhance the team as we strive to maintain our consistency and build upon our successes for these funds.”
