Reena Thakkar, Marc Devereux, and Raj Goswami, all ex principal consultants at Mercer Investments, will join Richard Cooper later this year to help grow the investment consulting business for Momentum in the UK.
All three new recruits will be responsible for providing advice to investors across the full investment spectrum. The team will focus on the ‘big picture’ and work collaboratively with trustees, in-house teams, other advisors and external investment managers.
Cooper joined Momentum in 2014 to develop an independent investment consulting capability for Momentum UK, focused on advising large UK defined benefit pension schemes. Prior to joining Momentum Cooper was a senior partner at Mercer for 20 years.
Cooper, who is head of Momentum Investment Solutions & Consulting, said: “Reena, Marc and Raj are all excellent hires for the business and mark an important milestone in its growth. I look forward to working with them all in building on our recent successes and further expanding the practice.”
