Amundi brings 16-strong ETF range to UK market

France’s Amundi has launched 16 ETFs on the London Stock Exchange.

Amundi says its research into European competitors using the same, or similar benchmarks shows that its ETFs are on average 25% cheaper than their European peers and says seven of the new synthetic range are “unprecedented” on the LSE.

These are the MSCI Nordic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland offerings. The firm has also launched three US-focused ETFs, two European funds, one Pacific ex-Japan tracker, one offering on the MSCI World index and one tracking the MSCI UK.

“The UK is an extremely important and competitive market and we are confident we have a product range of interest to both institutional and retail investors in the UK, who can now enjoy the same advantages already experienced by other European investors,” says Valérie Baudson, managing director of Amundi ETF.
