Bucher, who will lead business development and product strategy at Architas, as well as sitting on the management committee, will report to managing director Hans Georgeson.
He joins from SEI, where he was head of client investment strategy for the UK and EMEA with responsibility for developing and marketing investment portfolios to IFAs and private banks.
“Architas is growing at a considerable pace and needs highly experienced and talented teams in place,” said Georgeson.
Evercore Pan Asset Capital Management, meanwhile, has hired William Tong as a business development manager. Tong joins from Towry Law, where he worked in the private client team and as a business analyst.
