Surguy, who joins from Sanlam Private Investment, where he was head of managed funds, a role he took over in August 2012, and in which he also sat on the firm’s asset allocation committee, will join the firm on Monday.
Surguy, is also well known for the Sanlam White List, the group’s biannual list of the top UK equity income funds.
