Invesco has appointed Molly Betournay as director of ESG research.
Betournay joins from Vermont-based advisory firm Clean Yield Asset Management, where she was director of social research and advocacy.
In this role, she led the firm’s ESG research and analysis of public equities, oversaw its proxy voting programme, and designed and implemented long-term shareholder engagement strategies across a range of ESG issues.
Betournay has 19 years of industry experience, with her earlier roles including director of ESG and impact investing at Pathstone, head of US research at Vigeo EIRIS and lead sustainability analyst at Impax Asset Management, formerly Pax World Funds.

Betournay will lead a team of seven analysts in supporting Invesco’s investment teams. She will report to Glen Yelton, global head of ESG at Invesco.
