Schroders has appointed JP Morgan’s Swa Wu as an investment director, based in its Hong Kong office.
In the newly-created role, Wu will work with Schroders’ international distribution network to deliver the firm’s global and Asian fixed income investment strategies. She will report to Jonathan Harris, Schroders’ investment director for credit.
Wu joined JP Morgan in 2009, where she was latterly a senior fixed income investment specialist.
Harris said: “Swa’s arrival further supports Schroders’ focus on expanding our considerable credit capability in Asia. We are continually looking at ways in which we can better deliver the breadth of investment opportunities that credit can provide to our clients and this appointment will enhance our ability to do so.”
As of 30 June, Schroders managed £146.9bn in fixed income strategies globally.
