Wealth Club has poached Hargreaves Lansdown’s Nicholas Hyett for its investment research team.
Joining the high net worth investment service as an investment analyst, Hyett will enhance the firm’s coverage of tax efficient investments, including VCTs, EIS and Aim portfolios. He will also support the roll-out of private asset funds and a new high net worth DFM planned later this year.
He joins after five years at Hargreaves, where he most recently led the D2C giant’s equity research team covering UK, US and European companies and served as a spokesperson.
Wealth Club said Hyett’s appointment comes at a “bumper” time for the business. In this tax year so far, £200m has been invested through its platform, a 90% increase on the same time last year.
Wealth Club CEO Alex Davies said: “Our business is all about providing high net worth clients with the very best information, allowing them to make the most of their money. Nicholas’ appointment will allow us to bolster what we already do and help us expand into new areas. The business is now nearly six years old, with 8,000 clients who have invested £760 million with us. We have very ambitious plans for the future. This is just the start.”
