Trillium poaches staff from Ruffer and Abrdn

Trillium Asset Management has boosted its UK team with appointments from Ruffer, Abrdn and the United Nations.

Andrea Zdanaviciute has joined the firm as an environmental, social and governance research specialist, having previously worked in sustainable finance for the United Nations.

She will report to Jamie Mariani, portfolio manager at Trillium, and work with the firm’s ESG specialists based in the US on the implementation of the ESG processes.

Melanie Miao, who was a research associate in the global equities team at Ruffer, has joined Trillium as an investment analyst, while Vickie Little joins as office manager and investment assistant from Abrdn.

Miao will report to Ian Warmerdam, lead portfolio manager at Trillium, and will be based in Edinburgh alongside Little and Zdanaviciute.

Mariani said: “Their industry knowledge offers a diverse range of experience and perspectives which will ultimately benefit our clients’ portfolios.
