Gresham House has added two investment managers to its Strategic Equity team.

Amber Stone-Brown and Cassie Herlihy join the team, led by Ken Wotton and portfolio managers Adam Khanbhai, Brendan Gulston and Laurence Hulse, that runs the LF Gresham House UK Multi Cap Income fund, the Strategic Equity Capital investment trust and the Baronsmead VCTs.

Stone-Brown (pictured) previously worked in EY’s UK financial services strategy and transaction team specialising in the banking, capital markets and insurance sectors, as well as wealth and asset management. At Gresham House she will support the team’s engagement with public and private companies.

Herlihy was previously part of the corporate broking team at Citi and before that, spent more than two years at Investec. She has experience advising listed UK listed companies in areas such as investor engagement, corporate transactions and capital raising activity.

Wotton said: “While investors have started to return to the UK market, we believe the value potential across the market remains substantial. There remain tremendous growth prospects in underappreciated companies across public and private markets, which the addition of Cassie and Amber will help us identify.”

Last month, Gresham House named Chris Elliott as head of wholesale retail funds to push the Strategic Equity fund to the UK discretionary and adviser community.
