Former 7IM head of intermediary sales Robert Hardy has joined LGT Vestra as a business development director as part of a double hire for the wealth management firm.
Hardy worked for 7IM for over a decade and was most recently a director for strategic partners. Previously, he was an international sales manager at HSBC Global Asset Management.
He has been hired alongside Victoria Barber, who is also becoming a business development director. Barber was previously a strategic partnerships manager at Octopus Investments.
There are now 30 members of the business development team, which works with advisers in the UK and internationally.
LGT Vestra Partner and head of business development Tony Allan said in a press release: “Even in these extraordinary times, expanding our regional and global business development teams is a key part of our growth strategy, while maintaining our excellent service for financial advisers.”
“It is pleasing to see that our solid growth plans, distinctive culture and our investment approach continue to attract highly talented and experienced individuals.”
