Australian asset management business Fidante Partners has hired Nora O’Mahony as head of product in its London office.

O’Mahony (pictured) joins from Pacific Asset Management, where she developed and launched a bespoke range of funds in partnership with global IFAs.

Before Pacific Asset Management, which she joined in January 2018, she spent 15 years at Gam Investments, latterly as global head of product. She oversaw growth of $50bn in the specialist fund range at the Swiss asset manager. Previously, she had been head of product strategy at Citigroup Asset Management.

At Fidante, she will be responsible for research and development of its product range and will report to PeterPaul Pardi, head of Fidante Partners Emea and North America. Fidante is a $39.6bn (£30.6bn) multi-boutique model that establishes partnerships with specialist firms such as quant manager FME, event-driven equity investor Latigo and environmental assets specialist Resonance.

Pardi said her experience in developing specialist products would be invaluable for the firm, which is owned by A$78bn (£42.5bn) Australian investment firm Challenger.
