In his newly-created role, Weeks will report to Graham Tuckwell, chairman and CEO of the firm’s parent company, ETF Securities. He will take on responsibility for most of the Group’s operations, while Tuckwell will maintain duties in the corporate matters space.
Before joining ETF Securities in 2009, Weeks held senior positions at UBS, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
The firm announced yesterday the launch of two currency-hedged gold products on the LSE and the Deutsche Boerse.
