Effective immediately, Maharaj’s London-based role will see her working alongside the existing global strategy team on asset allocation for institutional and retail client portfolios.

She reports to John Bilton, JPMAM’s head of global multi-asset strategy for global investment solutions.

“Maharaj brings extensive technical expertise and strong macro-economic credentials to the team,” said Bilton.

“She will work closely with our quantitative research team and portfolio managers, across asset classes, to deepen our client relationships and continue to build our asset allocation capabilities globally.”

Maharaj arrives from a directorial berth on Credit Suisse’s European interest rate strategy team, where she focused on macroeconomics and rates trading in both the UK and on the continent.
