Michael Marshall has made the transition from leading the firm’s OTC derivatives and alternatives team, effective immediately.
He will be based in Henley-on-Thames, reporting to head of multi-asset and fund manager David Millar.
Marshall initially joined Invesco in 2013 as a senior valuations analyst before taking on management of the OTC team the following year.
The move follows the GTR strategy seeing its assets exceed £1bn, with Invesco seeking to build upon that success with the bolstering of its existing analyst roster, which is composed of Saul Shaul and Steven Hawes.
The fund opened in September 2013 and has returned 7.7% in the past year, outperforming the sector average of 2.5%.
