The new fund is available in euro and dollar share classes, and will primarily invest in equities worldwide, aiming to have between 50 to 80 holdings.
Head of global equity income team Alex Crooke will manage the fund along with Andrew Jones and Ben Lofthouse.
“In recent years, the equity market has become an increasingly important hunting ground for yield. We don’t see this trend abating,” head of EMEA retails and Latin America, Greg Jones, said.
Crooke added that increasingly, companies across the world are recognising the need to pay dividends.
“We have a closely integrated global equity income team that is well suited to bottom-up stock-picking and searching for undervalued, unloved and underappreciated companies. The SICAV will be a real benefit to investors that prefer the offshore equivalent.”
