Lowcock moved to Hargreaves Lansdown in November 2012 after almost a decade at competitor Bestinvest and served his last day at the firm yesterday.
“The parting was been very amicable, I learnt a lot and have enjoyed it but the role didn’t evolve quite as hoped,” he said from the sidelines of the Portfolio Adviser UK Congress 2014.
According to Lowcock he has no fixed plans as yet but is currently seeking a new challenge.
“I am looking for an opportunity where I can continue to assist investors within the financial services sector,” he said.
