The three are, Eleanor McKee, director with responsibility for clients invested in multi asset strategies; John Carnegie, director with responsibility for clients in the global alpha strategy; and Donald Farquharson, investment manager in the Japanese Equity team.
Partially making way is partner Elaine Morrison, who leaves on 30th April 2016 after 28 years with the company. She has worked as an investment manager and latterly in the clients department.
The total number of partners at Baillie Gifford will rise to 43 once the changes take effect.
Joint senior partner Andrew Telfer said: Eleanor, John and Donald have made outstanding contributions to the clients invested in their strategies, developing the strong relationships and great investment returns that are the foundations of our firm.”
