Ross has been chief executive of the Schroders-owned UK wealth manager Cazenove Capital Management, but as of today (10 May) his role has been expanded to head up wealth management globally for Schroders.
He will continue to report in to group head of private assets Philip Mallinckrodt.
As previously announced, Massimo Tosato, currently executive vice chairman and global head of distribution, will be retiring from the Schroders board on 31 December 2016 “to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions.”
In anticipation of that Tosato will start to hand over his responsibilities to a combination of John Troiano who will take up the global head of distribution slot, and Richard Mountford, who will become global head of product. Troiano and Mountford will report to group chief executive Peter Harrison.
One other senior level change also taking effect from today is chief financial officer Richard Keers “taking on additional responsibility for certain investment operations,” Schroders said in its stock exchange announcement.
