7IM saw a record 18% growth in assets on its platform during the second quarter.

Year-on-year, the wealth manager’s platform assets have grown by 36.8% to £23.8bn, after the business posted record net sales in the first quarter.

Gross sales were up 15.7% year-on-year while net sales increased by 6.96%.

The firm noted it has continued to invest heavily in its technology over the past year. This ‘drive towards digitisation’ has yielded an overhaul of its online reporting system and a new ‘client hub’ to bring all tools together.

A new app and client desktop portal is set to launch in the fourth quarter.

Russell Lancaster (pictured), managing director, platform and intermediary partnerships, said: “Our Q2 performance reflects both the sustained investment we’ve made in our technology programme and the growing trust advisers are placing in our platform.

“As more firms choose to do business with us, it’s a strong endorsement of our commitment to delivering exceptional service and solutions that make things faster and more efficient, enabling advisers to spend less time on process and more time with clients.”
