Seven Investment Management (7IM) has nabbed Terence Moll as chief strategist within its investment management team.
Moll was previously head of investment strategy at Coutts Investments.
7IM chief executive Tom Sheridan said Moll’s experience in multi-asset investing, strategy and quant research was “almost written for this role”.
Moll said he was attracted to 7IM’s owner-manager culture and the breadth of funds and products offered by the investment management firm. “With multi asset investing at its core and given my background in this area, it feels like coming home,” he said.
Before Coutts, Moll had been head of multi-asset allocation at the Universities Superannuation Scheme, the largest pension scheme in the UK. He has also served as head of multi-asset research and head of quant research for Investec Asset Management. He holds a PhD in economics from Cambridge University.
Moll replaces Alex Scott.
