According to David Carroll, co-head of relationship management at 7IM, the hires come as a result of increasing client demand. “Their significant investment knowledge and private client experience should be invaluable in the next stage of our evolution,” he said.
Prior to joining 7IM, Christie was managing director at Asset Risk Consultants and was formerly, head of Schroders’ international private client team. Mackenzie joins the firm from Coutts & Co where he was executive director and head of tailored portfolio services. According to 7IM, he has over 30 years’ experience in the private client space which has included stints at both Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.
