WisdomTree, which manages $41.7bn of assets globally, hopes the products will attract UK investors looking to weather increasing levels of volatility.

Part of the firm’s range of 68 ‘Boost’ products, the products performed well on European indicies in 2016, increasing traded turnover by more than 60% compared to 2015.

Wisdom Tree’s head of ETN’s, Jose Poncela, said: “These new listings in sterling will allow UK investors to focus on managing the significant upcoming volatility that we expect from eurozone elections, Brexit and the euro.

“Managing US equity market exposure remains a key area for investors given the high weight in global benchmarks.”

The products will offer exposure to eurozone equities, the European banks sector index as well as 10-year Bunds.

In the US, the products will have exposure to both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 as well as 10-year US treasuries.

Morgan Lee, head of European distribution, said: “WisdomTree is delighted to enhance the already successful Boost product range with these listings on the London Stock Exchange.

“These products have had proven traction with our European clients and we believe that they can be complimentary portfolio solutions for managing risk in an increasingly volatile macro environment.”
