Schroders adds two to fixed income teams

Schroders has strengthened its fixed income capablity with two hires across its global multi-sector and global macro strategy teams.

Jean-Christophe Alario has joined as a quantitative analyst, reporting to Paul Grainger, head of global multi-sector fixed income.

Marcus Jennings has been appointed to a newly created role of strategist reporting to Bob Jolly, head of global macro strategy.

With more than 10 years’ asset management experience, Alario will focus on developing a variety of models and tools to support the fixed income team’s investment process.

Prior to joining Schroders he was a senior investment risk manager at Pictet Asset Management, with previous roles at Rogge Global Partners, Primergy Capital Partners and RAB Capital.

Jennings, a recent graduate from he economics team at Schroders, will provide in-depth analysis of global markets and economies.
