The Manchester office has opened as a result of the increasing amount of work Prydis is undertaking in the North West, the firm said.
Prydis also announced that Andrew Waugh has been appointed to head up the new office. He has over 20 years’ legal experience and previously ran his own investment group, 53N which sought property and corporate investment and development opportunities. Prior to this he was group legal and commercial director at Urban Splash.
In addition, he has been appointed as a director of the group board and a director of Prydis Legal to add further guidance to the property and commercial team.
“I am thrilled to be joining Prydis at a time of significant growth and look forward to expanding its property investment offering,” Waugh said. “I believe that carefully curated property investment offers investors a strong tangible asset that most other classes of investment cannot match.”
Managing director Joe Priday said: “The Manchester office opening is an exciting development for Prydis and will open the door for clients looking to access new opportunities across the North West. In addition, Andrew’s appointment brings a wealth of experience in real estate financing and private equity to our growing team. He will play a key role in our future plans as we continue to offer clients a first rate service.”
The Exeter-based wealth manager recently launched a new ‘adviser led’ investment platform.
