Neitsch has joined Ignis Advisors, the company’s specialist alternatives division, from institutional fund of hedge funds manager Financial Risk Management. She has taken on responsibility for investments in hedge funds and private equity in credit markets.
She will oversee the new Strategic Credit Fund, which will invest in specialist, low liquidity, credit strategies, benefitting from opportunities created by recent and on-going market stress. The fund will have a multi-year lock in.
Neitsch said: “Ignis Advisors is a growing business with an excellent alternatives track record, upon which it intends to develop further specialist strategies. The launch of the Strategic Credit Fund later this year will be a good example of this and will suit clients who are able to make a longer-term commitment. It is particularly suitable for clients seeking longer duration assets to match their liability structure. This is an area that has received less focus in recent years but demonstrates excellent return potential.”
