Franklin Templeton introduces FTSE Developed World ETF

Franklin Templeton has launched the Franklin FTSE Developed World UCITS ETF, investing in large and mid-cap companies across the globe.

The fund, which is the 21st index ETF for Franklin Templeton, will list on the London Stock Exchange tomorrow (25 June). The passive strategy provides access to over 2,000 companies across 25 countries.

Dina Ting, head of global index portfolio management, and Lorenzo Crosato, ETF portfolio manager, will manage the fund with over 30 years of combined experience. Ting joined Franklin Templeton in 2015 after almost 10 years at BlackRock, while Crosato joined in 2017 after also spending 10 years at BlackRock.

Matthew Harrison, head of Americas (ex-US), Europe & UK for global advisory services at Franklin Templeton, said: “Franklin Templeton is delighted to be expanding its ETF product range with the launch of this new developed market ETF, thus offering investors more choice.

As of the end of May, Franklin Templeton’s global ETF platform has over $26bn assets under management.
