Jordan Sriharan has resurfaced at Canada Life as a fund manager in its £3.4bn multi-asset team.

Sriharan (pictured) will work alongside Canada Life head of multi-asset Craig Rippe to develop and manage a range of mixed-asset investment strategies.

He will manage the LF Canlife Diversified Monthly Income fund, a global strategy that aims to provide monthly income and capital growth over the longer term. He will also work on the firm’s five risk-targeted Portfolio Funds and its three risk-managed funds in the IA Mixed Investment 0-35%, 20-60% and 40-85% sectors.

It was revealed in August that Sriharan was leaving Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (CGWM) for a role in asset management, handing responsibility for the firm’s model portfolio and passive services to Nick Muir.

Sriharan had joined CGWM in May 2019 as head of managed portfolio service on its acquisition of Thomas Miller’s wealth business. Overall, he spent eight years at the two firms.

Before Thomas Miller, he worked at Mercer as an investment analyst focusing on fund research, asset allocation and long-term investment strategies for defined benefit pension schemes. He has also held positions at Wellcome Trust and Fidelity.

Canada Life Asset chief investment officer David Marchant said: “We are delighted to appoint an investment professional of Jordan’s calibre to significantly strengthen Canada Life Asset Management’s multi-asset team. Having developed and managed risk-profile multi-asset approaches for a number of years, Jordan is a valuable addition as we continue to strengthen our long-term investment strategies and capabilities.”
