BlackRock expands income range with GEM offering

BlackRock has launched a Global Emerging Market Equity Income fund to be managed by Dhiren Shah.

The fund will be the fifth in its Luxembourg-based BlackRock Global Funds range and will have UK reporting status. It sits alongside the existing BGF Asia Pacific, European, Global and World Resources equity income funds.

This latest offering will be managed by Dhiren Shah who is co-manager of the BlackRock Emerging Markets fund with Daniel Tubbs and Sam Vecht.

Its global equity income proposition was launched in the first quarter of this year, managed by Richard Turnill and Stuart Reeve, along with the Europe (Andreas Zoellinger and Alice Gaskell) and World Resources (Richard Davis, Joshua Freedman and Tom Holl) propositions.

BlackRock’s onshore equity income range is made up of UK, Continental European, Global and World Resources funds.
