Dal Mas joins as senior multi-manager analyst from Barings, where he managed multi-asset strategies across developed and emerging markets and a fund of hedge funds. He was also responsible for fund research for both the institutional and the charities businesses.

Emo Capodilista said she looked forward to welcoming the pair to the team.

“They bring strong experience of identifying and evaluating investment managers that will be beneficial to portfolio construction across our multi-asset fund range.”

The hires follow five other recent appointments to the wider multi-asset team including: Kevin O’Nolan and Guillaume Paillat who joined as multi-asset portfolio managers from Fidelity and First State Investments, and Patrick Bartholet, Katarina Cohrs and David Nowakowski all joined as multi-asset strategists.
