Australian asset manager RQI Investors enters UK market

RQI Investors, an Australian-based asset manager, has launched in the UK and continental Europe as it hits its 15th anniversary.

The company, which is part of First Sentier Investors Group, holds almost €17.7bn assets under management across global equity, emerging markets, and global smaller companies strategies. Founded in 2008 under the name Realindex Investments, the company has 17 employees.

Andrew Francis, CEO of RQI Investors, said: “Our conviction in our active management capability and the insights and research provides a unique combination of attributes that enables us to deliver long-term, investment outcomes. Funds under RQI include the Realindex Emerging Markets Value fund, two Realindex Global Share Value funds, the CFS Wholesale Indexed Property Securities fund and a Realindex Australian Small Companies Value, among others. RQI says its investment strategy is based on quantitative signals recognised by its team.

Two funds, the Quantitative Value Strategy and Diversified Alpha Strategy, will be available to European investors.
