AJ Bell appoints ex-FCA investigations head to board

AJ Bell has appointed Fiona Fry to its board as chair of the risk and compliance committee.

Subject to regulatory approval, the non-executive director will assume the role on 7 December.

Fry joins the platform after spending the majority of her career at KPMG, where as a partner she had a focus on financial regulation. Fry was also head of investigations at the Financial Services Authority (now the FCA).

She is also a non-executive director and chair of the risk Committee at Aviva Insurance Limited.
