The New Global Higher Income Fund launched as one of the first of its kind for UK investors, and favours US equities, which outrank other assets with a 40.8% weighting in the portfolio.
On the other hand, the Aberdeen World Equity Income Fund differentiates by focusing on the emerging market sphere, with UK equities the highest weighting at 16.7% closely followed by US equities at 13.2%.
