David Butler and Simon Church are joining from Cofunds and Metlife Europe respectively and will work in the capital and across the southern counties.

Butler was regional account manager at Cofunds and was responsible for helping a large number of regional and national IFAs develop their business strategies. Prior to this he spent five years at Insight Investment and four years at Prudential in a range of investment and client relationship roles.

Meanwhile, church has five years’ experience, with Metlife Europe his latest employer where he was responsible for cultivating new relationships with IFAs and for working on bespoke client investment strategies.

Glen Hawksbee, Quilter’s head of sales, said: “The experience David and Simon bring to Quilter fits perfectly with our philosophy of emphasising the importance of building strong relationships with intermediaries and their clients.”
