Durlacher currently leads a significant part of the UK business and is a member of the executive committee, as well as a director of Julius Baer International. He joined Julius Baer from Merrill Lynch International Wealth Management UK when the business was acquired by the Julius Baer Group in 2013.
“We are pleased that David will take on the responsibility to further drive our business in the UK and Ireland. His appointment demonstrates the bank’s continuous focus on this market, one of the largest for Julius Baer outside Switzerland,” said Gian A. Rossi, head of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and member of the executive board of Julius Baer.
Adam Horowitz, the current CEO of Julius Baer International, will retire as planned after having integrated IWM UK and Ireland into the Julius Baer Group.
