From today, the Miton Cautious Multi Asset Fund and the Miton Defensive Multi Asset Fund, managed by David Jane (pictured) and Anthony Raynor, will no longer apply the 1% initial charge.
Neil Bridge, head of sales at Miton, said the reasons were about transparency.
He said: “The charges have been removed as these multi-asset funds are not capacity constrained, and initial charges are therefore unnecessary to stem inflows at a later date. The change in the funds’ prospectus is part of Miton’s drive to deliver value and transparency to our investors.”
