Bill Smith, CEO of Lazard’s London base, said: “This new strategy will complement our strong European equity capabilities and will broaden our already robust expertise in long/short equities, a core focus of our investment offerings for clients.”
Arminjon brings 18 years’ industry experience to the firm, arriving five months after departing his lead manager role on Henderson Global Investors’ pan-European alpha fund, prior to which he was a senior analyst at Gartmore.
