Changes keep coming at Sanlam UK, with Richard Pursglove the latest high-profile departure, Portfolio Adviser can reveal.
His details no longer appear on the Sanlam website, nor does anyone seem to hold his title of global head of distribution.
Pursglove joined the firm in September 2018 and stepped down in April. Before that, he ran his own consultancy firm following a two-year stint at Aberdeen Asset Management.
He cut his teeth in distribution at Goldman Sach Asset Management, which he joined in October 2011, before moving to Artemis in 2013.
Portfolio Adviser has reached out to representatives of Sanlam UK for comment but none was received ahead of publication.
Revolving door at senior level
It has been a busy nine months for Sanlam UK, since it was revealed in September last year that the firm was being sold to funds managed by US investment firm Oaktree Capital Management for £140m.
Sanlam Private Wealth chief executive Penny Lovell stepped down in February. Her exit came two days after it was announced group chief executive Jonathan Polin was to depart.
He has been named chief executive of the business bought by Oaktree, which is currently awaiting a new name and fresh coat of paint.
