From the end of March, Eberhardt will be working alongside Paul Causer and Paul Read on managing the fund.
He takes on the fund management role from Nick Mustoe, CIO, who headed up the fund since it was launched.
Eberhardt joined Invesco Perpetual in 2008 as a fixed interest credit analyst. Prior to this, he began his investment career in 2005 at Moody’s as an analyst specialising in the analysis of high yield and investment grade corporate issuers in the EMEA region.
The fund currently holds £62m and was launching in January 2012, with assets under management totalling £81.94m.
“The Invesco Perpetual Fixed Interest team’s in-depth knowledge of the risk reward opportunities in all areas of the financial sector, and capacity and expertise in sourcing equity as well as credit ideas, have meant that I am able to step back as fund manager. I will continue to provide input and challenge through my CIO role,” Mustoe said.
