Kames Capital bolsters property team

Kames Capital is taking on board two asset managers for its property team.

Iain Corker joins from DTZ’s retail asset management team, where he was responsible as a surveyor manager for two shopping centres. He will work alongside fund managers Philip Bach Helen Batten on the firm’s active value strategies.
 
Chris Munday joins from Valad Europe, where he managed £150m for a mixed portfolio of commercial properties. He will work with Sarah Cockburn, who is a fund manager and head of unit linked property funds.
 
“Property has long been a key focus for Kames and we have been seeking to further enhance our capabilities in this asset class as investor interest continues to grow,” Phil Clark, head of property investment, said.
