Previously head of investments at Rasini Fairway Capital, Hovenden has 20 years’ experience working in financial markets and was also chief investment officer at Absolute Fund Managers.
Richard Romer-Lee, managing director for Square Mile, a research and consultancy firm, said Hovenden’s appointment would add considerable expertise to the research team.
