Henderson rings changes to multi-manager fund range

Henderson has made formal changes to the management structure of its multi-manager range

|

Bill McQuaker remains head of multi-manager and deputy head of equities and is sharing the responsibility of managing the fund range between himself, Lanning, Chris Forgan, Helen Bradshaw and Paul Craig.

The funds’ management structure now sees Bill McQuaker and Chris Forgan looking after the Income & Growth and Distribution funds, McQuaker and Lanning running the Managed Fund, McQuaker and Bradshaw the Active Fund, while Lanning and Craig will run the Gartmore Multi-Manager Absolute Return Fund.

Subject to unit holder and regulatory approval, the following proposals are being put forward to merge the Gartmore multi-manager funds into the existing Henderson range from 12 August, as follows:

  • Gartmore Multi-Manager Active Fund to move into the Henderson Multi-Manager Active
  • Gartmore Multi-Manager Balanced Fund into Henderson Multi-Manager Managed
  • Gartmore Multi-Manager Cautious Fund into Henderson Multi-Manager Income & Growth

The changes are being made to reward Forgan and Bradshaw for the work they have done in the past five years at Henderson, formally naming them as co-managers, as well as to take best advantage of the skills and assets that its Gatmore acquisition brings.
