Walker Crips has made a number of changes to its management team, promoting Glenn Cooper to group chief operating officer and adding two new managing directors.

Cooper, who was previously the operations director, will replace Sean Lam in the role of group COO.

Lam recently took over the CEO reins from Rodney Fitzgerald, who announced his retirement back in August.

The investment and wealth management group also announced it would be promoting Dominic Martin and Wendy Eastwood to managing directors of its wealth management and pensions divisions, respectively.

The duo will take over the responsibilities of interim head of York operations Nigel Skelton, who is stepping back to his previous role managing client relationships.

As part of the revamp, Don Formhals and Valentina Kang have been given expanded roles. Formhals will become the finance and operators director for the York office, while Kang will become quality assurance director.

New chief executive Lam said of the appointments: “It gives me great pride and pleasure to congratulate our talented team on their well-deserved promotions. I would like to thank our staff for their ongoing contribution to our success and I look forward to working with them as we embark upon our next stage of growth as a technology-driven financial services company.”
