Shanks has joined the London-based UK distribution team as associate director, discretionary sales.
His role is to promote Swiss & Global’s product range to wealth managers in London, the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man, as well as to multi-managers, fund of funds and insurance companies. He reports to Keith Rumbelow, head of UK sales.
Shanks worked at BNY Mellon for six years, most recently as a business development executive targeting the UK wholesale market.
Rumbelow said: “Our diverse fund range provides investors with an array of fixed income and equity strategies, including specialist products based on our expertise in emerging markets, absolute return and thematic investing. The expansion of the London sales team will help us to extend our client base and enhance client relationships across the UK.”
